It may seem intuitive to many of us at this point, but it is important for research to validate what we think we know. Often it takes scientific validation to help us believe in a specific intervention. We hope that research on the benefit of food on mood continues.

Today a post on psych central explained how there is new evidence that a healthy diet can improve mood. This specific study reviewed eating fruit and vegetables and monitored participant’s improvement in mood. The recommendation is basically that eating fruit and vegetables can improve mood, even as soon as the next day!
