I’m Dan Hanks, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Idaho and a graduate of the University of Idaho. I bring extensive experience in education, psychotherapy, and counseling, and I’m committed to helping clients create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach is integral and personalized. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered techniques, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to tailor therapy to your goals, strengths, and pace. Clients describe my style as warm, collaborative, and practical—focused on tools you can use in everyday life.

Outside the office, I enjoy a wide range of fitness activities and compete in triathlons. The discipline, balance, and resilience those pursuits require inform how I show up for my clients.
