Francesca Terracciano
Therapist Intern
Francesca is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Palo Alto University and looking forward to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor in just a few short months. As a Clinical Mental Health Intern, Francesca is gaining hands-on experience in providing compassionate and evidence-based care under the supervision of seasoned professionals.
Having received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Idaho and with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, she is passionate about helping others, empowering clients to achieve their personal goals, and improving their mental health.
Francesca takes a person-centered approach and is eager to apply therapeutic techniques, assist in developing personalized treatment plans, and contribute to a supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. Special areas of interest include cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care.
Francesca was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Hillside, New Jersey. After graduating high school, she joined the Navy, where she met her husband, a native of Coeur d'Alene, while stationed in Italy on a submarine tender. They have called Coeur d'Alene home since 2008.
Outside the clinical setting, Francesca enjoys boating, reading, camping, and spending time with her family, and raising her three boys alongside her husband.
